First we got a new (much needed) stove!
our old stove...'nough said.

The transformation of that side ofm y kitchen...next comes the fridge...I'll keep you posted!!
Then we had our own little celebration complete with family fun and a mini fireworks display!

We opted not to try and drag our toddler and baby out to the fireworks display in town and had our own little show instead.
Alex (of whom I expected to be excited) did not like the fireworks. He ran to Daddy and cried and clapped when they were done!
Sammy (of whom I expected tears) did not even flinch!

this post was too funny!! we had a stove like that when we first moved in to our current house-boy was i glad to see that go! also, our fireworks incident was very similar this year-dalton did NOT like them, and owen didn't flinch either. that's how we found out about his hearing issues. that's not to say that sam has them, too, of course!
